This low impact fitness class uses light weights, resistance bands and body weight exercises to revive your core and strengthen your entire body.

With an emphasis on body awareness, mindful breathing and proper alignment this class aims to reconnect you to the deepest layers of your core so you can rebuild full body strength safely. This is an interval style fitness class where each exercise is performed on your mat for one minute giving participants the opportunity to work at their own pace. 

This is the perfect class for new moms and anyone looking to deepen their core awareness.

We offer Level 1 and Level 2 versions of this class, for new and more advanced participants respectively.

CLASS TIMES:

  • Level 1: Tuesdays at 11:30am-12:15pm

  • Level 2: Tuesdays at 10:30am-11:15am

Frequently Asked Questions about mom and baby classes

  • Typically, babies should be at least 6 weeks old (or 8 weeks for c-section deliveries), and you should have clearance from your healthcare provider. Classes accommodate babies up to crawling stage (approximately 8-10 months).

  • This is completely normal and expected! Our Mom and Baby classes are designed with the understanding that babies will need attention. Feel free to attend to your baby's needs at any time.

  • No prior experience is needed. These classes are specifically designed for postpartum recovery, with modifications for different fitness levels.

  • Bring your baby, a blanket or play mat for them, toys to keep them entertained, diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes. For yourself, bring water and wear comfortable workout clothes.

  • Absolutely! You're welcome to breastfeed or bottle-feed whenever your baby needs. Our environment is supportive of all feeding choices.

  • These classes are specifically designed to address postpartum recovery needs while accommodating the practical aspects of having your baby with you. Exercises focus on rebuilding core strength and pelvic floor function.

  • Let your instructor know, and they'll provide appropriate modifications. Generally, we recommend waiting at least 8 weeks post-surgery before starting.

  • Yes! We encourage community building and often include time before or after class for parents to connect and socialize.
